        DOMESTIC VIOLENCE INITIATIVE

  • The Majlis Ash Shura has implemented the following procedures to put an end to
    domestic violence in our Muslim community:

  • Imams will publicize and state the names of men who assault or abandon their
    wives.

  • Men who assault or abandon their wives will be banned from future marriages.

  • The Majlis will keep permanent records of men who assault or abandon their
    wives, which can and will be checked before marriages.

  • The community will be advised not to have business dealings with men who
    assault or abandon their wives.

difficult  to see  in  Europe  and  Canada.    It  can  be seen with  difficulty in  India,  Pakistan,
